For most of the US summer means good weather, good music and, of course, good food.

Taste of Chicago is one of world's largest annual food festivals with dozens of restaurants, vendors, and food trucks serving up the best of the Windy City's food scene over five days.

There is also a main stage that will feature performances by AWOLNATION, Janelle MonŠe, Emmylou Harris, and Aloe Blacc, and more throughout the fest.

As always, entrance into the festival is free but you do need to purchase tickets for the concerts at the Petrillo Music Shell and the Pure Leaf Celebrity Chef du Jour, where Art Smith, Andrew Zimmerman, and other notable chefs will prepare 3-4 course dinners inside the dining pavilion.

Concert tickets start at $18 and the Celebrity Chef du Jour events are $45. Ticket can be purchased at Ticketweb.com.

Food and beverage tickets are sold in strips of 12 tickets for $8.50 at the festival. To give you an idea of how much you can with 12 tickets, "Taste of Portions" small portions are available at each food vendor and cost between 1-5 tickets.

Taste of Chicago will take place once again at Grant Park on July 9 - 13. You can learn more about the vendors, musical acts, attending, and tickets at cityofchicago.org.
