After becoming thoroughly addicted to this travel game from the BBC, we began searching the Internet for other ways to procrastinate exercise our travel brains. While the former was fun, it didn't exactly teach us much about the world we live in. The games that follow, however, are not only engaging and addicting, but you'll actually walk away having learned something practical.

Traveler IQ Challenge

This game is similar to Geoguessr in that you have to guess as close to the location as possible, but instead of using random pictures as clues, it asks you to locate world cities, famous places, countries based on their flags, historical sites, etc. The closer your estimate, the more points you earn. You can conquer the entire world, or narrow down your focus to a special continent.

Travel Trivia from Brain Dash

Answer as many travel questions correctly in three minutes as possible ranging from country geography to population. Once you play, it's pretty addicting to try and beat your score, and the questions always change, so it's easy to get sucked in.
