Alaska Airlines & Silver Gulch Brewing & Bottling Company
They’ve always done a little bit better when it comes to their in-flight selection, and now Alaska Airlines takes things to the next level. Recently they introduced Silver Gulch Brewing & Bottling Co.'s Old 55 Pale Ale into the cabin. Things are limited to flights between spots like Anchorage and Fairbanks as well as Anchorage and Kodiak, so you’ll need to time you flights just right. However, the best part is that these brews are served aboard Horizon Air and SkyWest regional flights, and that means that the microbrews are offered up free of charge.
Sun Country Airlines & Surly Brewing Company
The lesser-known carrier that does its thing to and from the Twin Cities is even getting in on the better beer movement, as they now load plenty of options from the Surly Brewing Company into the catering cart. It’ll be $7 for passengers flying in coach, and they can choose from options like Surly Hell, Furious, and Bender. Craft beer connoisseur can enjoy a mile-high beverage to destinations like Seattle, San Francisco, and San Juan.
