Now that George Clooney's mom has confirmed that the world's most notorious bachelor is indeed settling down with Amal Alamuddin, it's time to start wedding planning.

Based on Clooney's own travels and favorite locations, we've narrowed it down to 3 potential locations for the couple's nuptials:

Lake Como, Italy

George takes every opportunity to gush about Villa Oleandra, his home in Laglio on Lake Como, Italy, so this would be the perfect venue for his wedding to Amal. Nonetheless, George may have already promised the estate for another high-profile wedding. Rumors have been swirling for years that when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie finally tie the knot, it will be here at Clooney's villa.

Baja Peninsula, Mexico

Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber are two of George's closest friends and were among the first to find out about his engagement. Thus, it would only seem fitting that George be married in the Mexican compound they all own together.

Casamigos, which translates to “House of Friends,” features adjoining villas and amazing views of Mexico’s Baja peninsula, perfect for a destination wedding.

If Amal is calling the shots, the couple may find themselves getting married in her home country of Lebanon. Alamuddin is considered an expert on Lebanon and international law; she even co-wrote a book entitled, "The Law and Practice of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon." We wouldn't rule out a trip to the country her family once fled for her big day.

The couple could consider marrying at Chateau Montagne which, according to lebanonperfectwedding.com, is "a Magical Castle Venue- a location like no other, it stands out from all common hotels and offers romantics a breathtaking hill top castle where dreams are envisioned!"
