We're Totally Addicted to This BBC Travel Game

Enjoy exploring the globe and testing your travel knowledge? An interactive game from the BBC has got us hooked. Called Geoguessr, it challenges you to identify your location on the planet from a photo.

It's a simple concept. The game shows an interactive photo from Google Maps (with full rotation but limited zoom-out capabilities), and you use context clues from the scenery and surroundings to determine where you are in the world. When you think you've narrowed it down, you drop a pin on the map and click "make a guess." The game then reveals the exact location, giving you the mileage between your guess and the exact location. There are five rounds, and the closer your guess, the more points you earn.

It's a good way to pass the time and learn about the landscapes of different regions, but fair warning: It's pretty addictive, and will definitely impact your productivity at work.
