Miami's Versace Mansion Sees a Fresh Slew of Celebs

This week the Kardashian sisters had the privileged of staying at the former Versace Mansion in Miami.

Located on Ocean Dr. in South Beach, Casa Casuarina attracts hundreds of tourists a day hoping to get a glimpse behind the gate of one of the country's most expensive and storied properties.

Johnny Versace was famously murdered on the steps of the mansion in July 1997 after spending millions of dollars renovating the 10 bedroom home.

Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe - in town for the opening of the new DASH boutique - all took turns waving to fans from the mansion's balconies while their little sister Kylie tweeted photos of herself at the ornate pool.

Right now, the home is closed to the public but is expected to reopen as a hotel soon. Last fall New York’s Nakash and Gindi families, who own the Hotel Victor next door, bought the home with plans of operating a boutique hotel there, using the famed Versace name, soon.
