London's All Set to Show Off 'Sherlock Holmes' Memorabilia Later This Year
The Museum of London has announced they will debut a new Sherlock Holmes exhibition later this year. It will be the first major showing of Sherlock Holmes memorabilia in London since the 1951 Festival of Britain.
The exhibit will not only trace the literary origins of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's infamous detective, but also his relationship with the city itself.
Everything from the original issues of The Strand Magazine, where Sherlock first appeared, to representations of Sherlock in current pop culture, including the current series starring Benedict Cumberbatch, will be represented.
The Museum of London's Sherlock Holmes exhibition opens on Friday, October 17, 2014 and runs until Sunday, April 12, 2015.
