The Holidays Just Keep on Going for a Few Lucky Celebs

While most of us getting back to our usual routines, some celebrities are squeezing out a few more days of vacation.

As usual Hawaii was the place to be and over the weekend a few celebrity couples were still soaking in the sun. Anne Hathaway and her husband Adam Shulman were spotted strolling through Hanalei, a small town on the north shore of Kauai while Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield took surfing lessons on the north shore of Oahu.

On the other side of the world Will and Jada Smith celebrated their anniversary in Dubai last week. But, Will took some time out with the guys yesterday to try out a local indoor skydiving facility with Tyrese and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Madonna also opted to extend her vacation but instead of hitting the beach, she's been hitting the slopes. She didn't seemed to be worried about the controversy she caused Saturday when she posted a photo of her 13-year-old son Rocco posing with a bottle of alcohol, as she just posted a scenic photo from the Gstaad, Switzerland with the caption, "I'm in heaven! Another beautiful day! Lucky Me." Lucky indeed.

But, the greatest concentration of A-listers by far was in Palm Springs, CA over the weekend. Though technically not on vacation, Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, Bono, Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Colin Farrell and Melissa McCarthy were just a few of the stars who helped kick off the Palm Springs International Film Festival with an awards ceremony and a few fancy soirees.

Hanks recently summed up the PSIFF experience best saying, "It means without a doubt that the holidays have come to an end and for a few lucky people the celebrity mule train is just beginning."
