· EVA Airways:
Nothing is set in stone as of yet, but it does sound like EVA Airways is getting ready to boost their footprint to and from North America. Recently they revealed their plans to add more flights and frequencies, and it looks like those across the United States and Canada are the big winners. Flights in and out of New York will jump from five to seven in June, and over in San Francisco they’ll be going from 12 to 14 weekly flights. Los Angeles is getting a little more love as well, as they’re set to head to 21 from 18. As for Canada they’re scoring some flights as well as both Toronto and Vancouver are looking at getting four flights—an increase in one from their current numbers. The carrier calls Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport over in Taipei its home, so that’s where you’ll end up after the long-haul journey.
The animal tails are on the move yet again, as this week Frontier is getting ready to head into the skies with some new options between here and there. Seasonal service is now doing its thing between Denver and Montego Bay, as the flights first took to the skies just before Christmas. Sundays are the day in which the planes do their thing, so you’re looking at missing a week of work if you want to hop aboard Frontier in both directions. It’s Airbus A319s doing all of the flying, and we’re pretty sure that this is the only carrier heading between the two destinations—so expect to pay for the pleasure to do so.

There’s a lot more options to head over to Hawaii, as Hawaiian Airlines is starting up a new nonstop flight between Los Angeles and Maui beginning on July 1. They’re using some of their new Airbus A330s to do all the back and forth flying across the Pacific, and that means room for around just shy of 300 passengers. For those interested in timing things just right it looks like the flights will leaver from California around 11:15am and will arrive at Kahului Airport in Maui at 1:45pm—all times local. When the time arrives to head back home you’ll be leaving the islands at just before 4pm and returning to the mainland just minutes before midnight.
