It sounds like Enterprise is the first car company to jump into the program, and their car of choice is the Nissan Leaf. With over 100 charging stations in the immediate area—and a short distance between Mickey Mouse and Harry Potter—we’re thinking that keeping things filled up on electricity won’t be a problem at all.
We checked the rates for next weekend just for a couple of days, and it’s actually pretty affordable. Rates are coming up for just shy of $20 per day, and all in with taxes and fees it’s $58.01 from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Remember that's pretty inclusive, considering you’re not paying for gas at all, so there’s no need to stop and fill it up on the way back to the airport. That should provide at least another 15 minutes for souvenir shopping.
