A few years ago a whole new entertainment complex—basically a mall—opened up adjacent to the team’s home at Gillette Stadium. We’d imagine that things get pretty darn enjoyable at game day, and that’s even the case if you’re just wandering around checking out Bed Bath & Beyond or Old Navy. We’ll try not to sound like a press release, but the place is packing loads of stuff within its 1.3 million square feet of shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Some unique stuff beyond the shops and restaurants include The Hall at Patriot Place, which can be best described as one part of hall of fame and one part museum dedicated to all things Patriots. Tickets to check it out are $10 per adult, so be sure to syphon a little cash off your beer and nacho budget if you’re planning to attend.
If you need something a little more committed to the great outdoors—we’re not talking about their Bass Pro Shops location—the place even has a cranberry bog. The nature trail offers a half-mile walking trail that provides the chance to take a peek at the local flora and fauna, and it even wraps through a 32-acre cranberry wetland system.
So yes, there’s a big game going on tonight between two professional football rivals, but there’s also fun for the whole darn family just outside the turnstiles at Patriot Place. There’s even a Marriott on the grounds—Renaissance Hotel & Spa at Patriot Place—too bad it’s sold out tonight.
