Get Outside With A Trio Of Beer Festivals This July

Summer is fully underway and, if you’re anything like us, the warm weather has you yearning for a frosty adult beverage. Thankfully, breweries large and small have already read our minds and they're pumping out pints of the finest summer ales and lagers. While there are plenty of places to indulge in a few summery sips, here’s three summer beer festivals worth the price of admission:

Beertopia's Sunfest – Omaha, Nebraska

Out in the midwest they sure have their share of warm summer weather so it’s only natural to head outdoors with a refreshing beverage in one hand. The fun will start flowing at this year’s Sunfest in Omaha, Nebraska on July 13. Only $27 will get you a ticket for access to five hours of unlimited sampling of well over 200 beers, and they’ll even throw in a souvenir tasting glass, program, and some live music. Around 40 breweries will be in attendance — like Empyrean Brewing Company and Lucky Bucket Brewing Company — and they’re promising some rare and limited releases. Everything takes place just behind Beer Corner USA at 36th and Farnam in Midtown Omaha.

All Pints North Summer Brew Fest – Duluth, Minnesota

There’s less than two weeks left to make your plans to attend this year’s All Pints North Summer Brew Fest in Duluth, Minnesota. The tipsy tasting event is set to do its thing on July 13 as well right along the water at Bayfront Festival Park. Tickets will set you back $30 in advance, and admission will get you all the unlimited samples of craft beers you can handle along with a commemorative tasting glass. In the past, there have been plenty of local offerings from spots like Big Wood Brewery, Great Waters Brewing, and Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery, so we’d expect much of the same this year. Just be sure to pray to weather gods a few days in advance as this event is going to happen rain or shine.

Summer Brew Fest – Denver, Colorado

If you’re thinking about heading over to Denver for one of the year’s biggest beer events get your tickets now. This sucker sells out. The lagers and ales are set to start flowing on July 26 at Mile High Station for the city's Summer Brew Fest. We’re thinking that you’ll have at least 125 sudsy selections from which to choose; over 45 craft breweries from around the state and beyond will be on hand to pour you a sample. Tickets are $30 for basic admission, but maybe go for the VIP tickets — they’re $40 — as these get you into the festival an hour before everyone else.
