It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Penguins on a Southwest Jet!

To start the week off we figured we’d share a little bit of a distraction the form of a new airplane paint job, and this one comes to us from the fun folks over at Southwest Airlines. We know that Southwest is a big fan of animals—from puppies to ponies—but they also have a well-documented spot in their hearts for penguins.

As part of their relationship with SeaWorld—it’s been going for around 25 years—they just revealed a brand new look to one of their planes featuring plenty of penguins. The Boeing 737-700 will be known as Penguin One, as it joins a bunch of other specialty Southwest paint schemes.

The plane made its debut down at Orlando International Airport—of course—and we’re guessing that you’ll be able to spot it high above the skies for the foreseeable future.

Finally no plane paint job is complete without a little movie documenting the whole process, so check out the behind the scenes footage below.
