Eat the Largest Donuts and the Tastiest Vegetarian Fare During SXSW 2013

We believe there is a saying perfect for SXSW: "Man cannot live on (free) bread alone." Though the festival of music, film and tech loves to see its attendees gorging on complimentary nibbles at events all over Austin, sometimes one must sit down to a full, honest meal.

Whether you're looking for a restaurant to treat a potential business partner or just hankering for a Texas-sized donut, here's our highest recommendations:*

· Go to Maria's Taco Xpress for breakfast tacos.
· For affordable vegetarian fare, I recommend Mr. Natural.
· Get your hands on a couple Round Rock Donuts for a hearty, delicious breakfast (great for hangovers).
· In the mood for Thai? Look no further than Madam Mam's.
· For great, local ice cream you have to try Amy's.
· Finally, when you're in Austin you've got to have some Tex-Mex and margaritas at Guero's. It's actually a state law.

*I'm an Austinite, so trust me on these.
