What's (Maybe) in Store for the Massive Expansion of Universal Orlando's Harry Potter World

As if Universal Studios wasn't already double-downing on brand new Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme parks coming to their Hollywood and Japan locations, they've even announced a "significant expansion" going on at the Orlando original WWoHP.

That's about all we know for sure, but it's enough to get the rumor mills whirring.

Here's what's being said about the Orlando Wizarding World expansion right now:

· Some members of the Harry Potter movies cast reunited to film scenes which will be included in elements of the expansion. This even includes Helena Bonham Carter, aka Bellatrix Lestrange.
· Another ride experience to compliment the current Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Perhaps one like the mine car trip Harry takes through the bowels of Gringotts Bank.
· OrlandoInformer notes; "Fairly solid speculation says the area will become the 'London' side of Harry’s story and may include venues such as The Leaky Cauldron, Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes, and Borgin and Burkes store of Dark magic."
· A working Hogwarts Express train (right now there's just a static display of the locomotive)
· The opening of the expansion will likely be 2015, sandwiched between the 2014 debut of the Hollywood park and the 2016 debut of the Tokyo location.

There's no renderings been released quite yet, but a sketch of what it could be combined with recent photos of the ongoing construction lead us to believe that it so minor undertaking.

Looks like we'll need to be updating our Complete Survival Guide to the Wizarding World fairly soon...
