· Air China:
Right now Air China does its very best to head back and forth between New York-JFK and Beijing, but it sounds like they’re getting ready to do even better. They’re upping the options on their weekly round-trip schedule, as the end of March—March 31 to be specific—will be when weekly flights are bumped up to 11 times each and every week.
Air China is also saying goodbye to the use of Boeing 747s on these routes, as they’re making the switch over to some Boeing 777s for the heavy lifting on these long-haul routes.
· Frontier:
It’s been a little bit since we first heard about Frontier and their plans to head in and out of Trenton-Mercer Airport over in New Jersey. It looks like things are going well, and they’re even ready to add another option. The latest nonstop flight is scheduled to do its thing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, as Frontier will connect Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport with the Trenton, New Jersey area. Pretty sure that introductory fares can still be yours for as little as $99 or so each way, so get booking and start enjoying New Jersey—or Florida.

It’s almost time for Qatar Airways to start one of their newest routes, so if you’re looking to check out the scene before the World Cup arrives in 2022—now’s the time to do so. The carrier is getting ready to launch nonstop options between Chicago and Doha beginning on April 10, and to get everyone excited about it they’re offering up some decent introductory fares. You need to book by February 18, but if you want to go to Doha—or even one of their onward destinations—round-trip routes can be yours for as little as $979. Qatar Airways is quick to point out their ability to provide five-star comfort on the “World’s Best Airline,” but just remember that coach is still coach.
