Several hotel chains and tourism boards across the country are jumping on the Oscar bandwagon this week, but if you really want to immerse yourself in the world of a Best Picture nominated film, The Hotel Palomar Philadelphia has the package for you.

The Palomar is offering fans of the movie Silver Linings Playbook, which was set and filmed in Philadelphia, a special package including 15% off room rates, a VIP tour of Eagles Lincoln Financial Field (if you've seen the movie you know the Eagles play a big part in it), and breakfast at Broad Street Diner (which is a closer version of the Llanerch Diner, the now-famous diner in the movie). TO get this deal, just put in the rate code "OSCAR" when booking.

If you can't get away this weekend, AMC Theatres is once again hosting a special marathon event featuring all nine Best Picture nominated films in one day, for just $60, on Saturday, February 23. Visit amctheatres.com to find a participating theater near you.
