Delta Brings a 'Cheer Cart' out of the Cabin and into a Few Cities

‘Tis the season for the airlines to get in the holiday spirit, and Delta is certainly one of the first ready to pass out a little cheer and merriment.

They’re using the in-flight beverage cart as a makeshift sleigh, and they’ve even released a video showing off both their musical talent and their commitment to the season. Flight attendants, pilots, and other employees do their best to play a little song, using everything from seatbelts to spoons to make their melody, and it’s actually pretty cute.

Check things out above, but also keep an eye out for the Delta crew in a city near you. They’re bringing their beverage cart—now known as the “Cheer Cart”—into cities to pass out goodies to those thinking about flying Delta during the most wonderful time of the year.

Now through December 21, the carts will take to the streets of New York, Atlanta, Seattle, and Los Angeles, as they’ll be passing out plenty of in-flight favorites. Coffee, Coca-Cola products, and of course Biscoff cookies will all be yours for the taking. They’ll also be giving away some stuff that’s usually not found up in the air, like sunglasses, water bottles, t-shirts, and other Delta goodies.

The carts and crews will make appearances at local festivals, sporting events, and other gatherings to spread their holiday cheer—and their Delta marketing. Follow Delta on Facebook to see where they’re going to be next, or just head to Radio City Music Hall or Madison Square Garden on December 11 and December 12—those spots are first on the schedule.
