Score a Free Uber Car to Seattle Airport, Thanks to Alaska Airlines

Good news if you’re heading to the airport in the next couple of days, as Alaska Airlines might just help you get there. They’re definitely in the holiday spirit with their latest promotion; however, you do need to call the Seattle area home to get in on the deal.

Alaska Airlines is teaming up with the ride-share folks over at Uber, and they’re giving free rides to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The freebies are scheduled to run both today and tomorrow—December 23 and December 24—as travelers are welcome to a free one-way ride to the airport.

The deal covers one ride up to $50, and you’ll be spending your commute over to the airport in a town car or something similar.

For those already using Uber, taking advantage of the offer is pretty easy. Just fire up your app as you normally would, and go ahead and request a trip over to the airport. During the promotion, these kind of trips will be charged right to Alaska Airlines, and no tipping or cash will be required. Just note that if things cost more than $50, overage will be charged to the credit card you have on file with the Uber app.

Obviously cars are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to take advantage of your free ride as soon as possible and keep in mind that a town car ride is more expensive than a regular taxi, so that $50 will rack up quickly.
