Why choose between a volunteer trip and an outdoor adventure? Fronteering is offering more travel experiences that combine doing good with the adventure of a lifetime for 2014.

Fronteering adventures range from one week trips in the Amazon to an entire gap year caring for grizzly bears in western Canada.

One of Fronteering's most popular trips includes an Arctic Husky Ranch in the North Pole. The ranch always needs help with some pretty physically demanding work but, in return volunteers get to go dog sledding, play with the huskies, get "off the grid," and explore Canada's remote wilderness.

The trip is only $895 for 12 weeks (not including airfare) and can be scheduled in the winter or summertime.
