The reason for the airport bargain is thanks to Sky Harbor's commitment to what it calls "street side pricing." There are almost 40 local restaurants/vendors located in the airport, and all offer their food and drinks at the same price you would get them at their city location.
We think Sky Harbor deserves a standing applause for this initiative. From sports stadiums to movie theaters, we live in a world where businesses do their best to take advantage of "trapped" customers. To see an operation as large as an airport cut its customers a break (when it really doesn't have to) is an unbelievable ray of hope for the future.
