You'll Have to Wait Until Next Year for Tickets to San Diego Comic-Con

Comic fans will have a brief reprieve from the stress of purchasing San Diego Comic-Con badges for 2014.

Yesterday, organizers announced they’re postponing the always chaotic ticket-buying process for preregistered attendees until early next year so they can “fine-tune” the online system.

"Because we want to have as fully developed a product as possible we have decided to postpone Comic-Con 2014 badge preregistration until early next year," the convention said in a statement on their blog. Among the planned improvements to the system are a shopping cart, single session purchasing for multiple attendees, and extensive load testing.

In addition, the statement promises to "have more information for you after the New Year."

Comic-Con International 2014 will be held July 24-27. To learn more about attending SDCC, visit comic-con.org.
