Forget Chevy Aveos; Las Vegas' Idea of a Rental Car is a Motorcycle
Renting a motorcycle isn’t exactly a new concept, as Harley-Davidson and other dealerships have been renting out bikes for quite some time—assuming you know how to ride one. However, this week things are a little different, as one national rental car company is getting in on the motorcycle renting business.
Enterprise—known for their ability to pick you up—is breaking the mold and will be offering up more than just compact and economy cars. In case you couldn’t figure it out on your own based off our hints, they’re now renting out motorcycles as well.
Of course the perfect place to test things out is Las Vegas, so now you can enjoy all things motorcycle while making your way down the Strip—or riding out to the Hoover Dam. For now this is their only spot renting out two-wheeled vehicles, as they’re doing it from the existing Enterprise location at 4517 W Flamingo Road—kind of near the Palms.
We haven’t rented a motorcycle ourselves, so we’re not too familiar with the going rate. However, we did go ahead and try to make a booking for next week. It looks like things are pricing out for $149 per day, and that includes unlimited mileage. They’re not too specific with the options on their website, but a little reserarch indicated that they're offering up a few different flavors of Harley-Davidson.
They're are certainly a few different things to consider when renting two-wheeled vehicles instead of four-wheeled vehicles, but we're sure Enterprise knows what they're doing. If not they at least have cash and resources to throw at the problem in case things don't go well. We'll leave it up to you when it comes to who to choose for a motorcycle rental, but at least check the rates from Enterprise if you're renting one in Las Vegas.
