The cheap flights to and from Mexico are continuing thanks to Volaris, as the low cost carrier has some new plans for options to and from the United States. This week the carrier started nonstop flights between Guadalajara and Phoenix, as Volaris plans to do their flying thing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays with some Airbus A320s. This is destination number eight for Volaris out of Guadalajara, so go forward and enjoy it. The folks over US Airways fly some similar options between the two cities, so we’d expect airfares—thanks to the friendly competition—to drop to move affordable levels.
· Qatar Airways:
There’s a new option coming from Qatar Airways, and that’s especially good new for those with plenty of frequent flyer miles—‘cause Qatar Airways is joining the oneworld airline alliance in just like a week or so. They’ll be using some Boeing 777s for their latest new route announcement, and this will be destination number six for them within the United States. Beginning on June 1 Qatar Airways will link Miami with Doha over in Qatar. The carrier has been pretty busy this year, as they have also announced plans to do the nonstop thing out of spots like Chicago and Philadelphia as well.

We’re enjoying the autumn season and all that comes with it, but US Airways is already looking forward to the warmth and sunshine of next summer. From their hub in Charlotte US Airways is planning to check out a bunch of new spots over in Europe, as it sounds like they’re headed to Barcelona, Brussels, Lisbon, and Manchester. Everything is seasonal, so don’t expect these flights to stick around forever; however, if you’re already thinking about a European holiday in 2014, there’s a chance you might be utilizing US Airways to help you get there. Most flights begin in May 22, but the flights to Brussels are starting a little later—those hit the skies on June 25.
