The best seats
In Club World, we vote for 1A, !K, and 1E. The first two are no-brainers, as they're up front in the quietest and most private part of the plane, with windows to look back at the wings. As for 1E, it also faces backwards but is at the very center of cabin. Although you're without a window and have to step over feet to reach the restroom, the E seats in Club World have a few extra inches of width the others don't and, when those privacy screens are up, they're the best for maximizing undisturbed sleep time.
In World Traveller Plus, aim for the unlimited legroom of bulkhead seats 10A and 10K.
In World Traveller, there's a few choice seats to grab. We'd recommend 21A, 21K, 30A, and 30K for legroom. For moveable armrests and a good view of the raked wing in action, without having it spoil your view of any scenery, head for any A or K in rows 33-37.
To fly on the new British Airways 787 between Newark and London, book BA flight numbers BA 186 and BA 187. To check out the BA 787's other routes (to Toronto and, soon, to Austin), visit British Airways' official 787 site.
We traveled on the inaugural flight of the British Airways 787 from Newark to London as a guest of BA, but all photos and opinions are completely our own.
