Movie fans nostalgic for the good ol' days are gathering in New York City this month for the Empire Drive-In. The temporary outdoor movie theater replicates the drive-in movie experience of the mid-twentieth century, complete with junked cars for the audience to sit in.
The theater, which was designed by artists Todd Chandler and Jeff Stark, will be at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park through October 20, 2013.
