Once again this year the Sundance Institute is giving those of us who couldn't make it to Park City an opportunity to see some of the Sundance Film Festival's best films closer to our hometowns.

The 2013 Sundance Film Festival will screen 10 movies, with the filmmakers, in 10 independent theaters in cities across the country on January 31 as part of their Sundance Film Festival USA program.

Movie buffs can check out the following films in the following cities: The East in Ann Arbor, MI, The Lifeguard in Boston, MA, Kill Your Darlings in Brooklyn, NY, Touchy Feely in Chicago, IL, Ain't Them Bodies Saints in Houston, TX, Afternoon Delight in Los Angeles, CA, Mother of George in Nashville, TN, A.C.O.D. in Orlando, FL, In a World... in San Francisco, CA, and The Spectacular Now in Tucson, AZ.

Robert Redford, President and Founder of Sundance Institute, said, “Sundance Film Festival USA celebrates the theaters and audiences that are an integral part of supporting and encouraging the work of independent filmmakers. By extending the Festival to these 10 cities, we will create a larger shared experience and dialogue around the issues of our time, as explored in these films.”
