To take advantage of things you just make a separate baggage delivery reservation after you’re all set with your flight details. At the airport you’ll check your bags as usual, but just be aware that you’ll still be stuck paying any associated bag fees. After that your baggage tags will be identified with whatever they need to be identified with, and that’ll alert the BagsVIP people to scoop up your luggage and bring it to you. Just don’t get too relaxed and comfy at the pool, as you will need to sign for your stuff.
That’s pretty much the basics of what you need to know, but there’s all kinds of FAQs that you can peruse right over here. As for the cost, it’ll set you back around $30 for one bag, $40 for a pair of bags, and $50 for three to eight pieces of luggage. Right now there are around six airports offering up the service, as Boston, Honolulu, Chicago, Houston, Orlando, and Los Angeles are already getting in on the fun. We're sure that more will become available as the service catches on, so don't worry if it's not at your favorite spot just yet.
As for the service overall we’re kind of okay with carrying our stuff ourselves, but we certainly like the option.
