Starting as soon as next year, park officials are going to combine the different sections and areas of the park (like the animal safari, theme park, and water park), and that might just help the park grab the title of the world’s largest theme park. We understand that they’re getting bigger based on a technicality—and not by adding 10 coasters in the offseason—but it still seems like an interesting idea.
The biggest changes will be at the park’s drive-thru safari, as now the park is scheduled to take the wheel. Visitors will be shuttled about in open air vehicles driven by park officials, and the park is also promising a little more direct interaction with the critters—like petting or feeding them.
All these updates and upgrades are probably going to cost quite a bit of cash, but as of right now, it looks like there are no plans to raise the price of admission for 2013. That can always change, but if you want to lock in your pass you can do so this fall.
