We’ve flown through Kansas City International Airport, and we’ve got to say that we’re glad to hear that they’re getting a new restaurant. Top of the Crown Grill is a collaboration between HMSHost and the city’s baseball team, so expect plenty of sports bar fun and Kansas City Royal themed burgers and beverages. Enjoy your pre-departure meal in the post-security area over in Terminal B—it’s on the second level near Gate 58.
Finally we make our way over to Orange County, California, where fortunately the Real Housewives are not scoring their own theme restaurant. However, there are three new options that opened at the end of August. Ruby’s Diner, Ruby’s To Go, and Farmer’s Market by Laguna Culinary Institute are the new options and they’re all doing their thing between Gates 8 and 9. Both Ruby’s locations offer up the usual diner fare, and over at Farmer’s Market you can score soups, salads, and other stuff with locally sourced ingredients—bon appetite!
