This particular puss was strutting about the stunning Palacio La Alhambra as if he owned the place. Well, he kind of does; he's the resident cat at this former private residence-turned-center for the arts. And yes, it's so named for the Alhambra in Spain because the family of patrons, who originally built it for themselves, wanted it to be as close a copy of the original as possible.
The Palacio was actually closed to the public at the time we visited, but that was no barrier for our guide with Santiago Adventures, who swiftly got us in for a peek at the palace and a pet of its nice cat.
How to submit your own Travel Cat photo to be featured:
· Have a pic of a cute cat in an interesting world location.
· Tweet it to us @Jaunted with a few words on where you took the snap.
· OR Instagram it to us by posting the pic and including us (@Jaunted) and #TravelCat in the description
· Or you can always just email us the old-fashioned way.
If your kitty makes the cut, we'll feature it on Travel Cat (every Wednesday!) and link to your Twitter/Instagram/Facebookwhatever social network you get down with the most.
