Spring Breakers, which critics are calling "Beach Blanket Bingo on acid," also had a special screening at TIFF last week with its stars, Selena Gomez and James Franco. The movie might not be everyone's bag, but it will inspire the collegiate set to start booking hotels for spring break 2013. The movie was even filmed in one of St. Petersburg, Florida's real-life spring break hot spots, The Coral Reef Beach Resort.
Critics might be confused about Spring Breakers, but they seem to agree Anna Karenina is the best movie of the fest so far. Keira Knightley stars in the latest adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's classic which was filmed at the Ham House in Surrey. And, we have a feeling that once the movie hits theaters, Ham House is going to be the second most popular castle in the U.K.
