After the freebie period expiries you’re looking at roughly $5 per hour or around $8 for the entire day. Apparently shelling out a little cash will get you access to “premium bandwidth,” which sounds like a plus even though we don’t know what that entails. All the bits and bites of data flowing throughout the concourse and terminals will make the airport the largest in the country offering up free WiFi—at least according to officials at LAX.
A long way from Los Angeles—like across the pond long—there’s another airport scoring fee-free WiFi. Ireland’s Dublin Airport has now flipped the switch on complimentary internet access across the airport. Both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are now offering up free wireless broadband service, and there’s not even any registration or annoying signup process needed. Just navigate your WiFi enabled device over to “Dublin Airport Free WiFi,” and start doing your thing—happy surfing!
