Along with the ark, a biblical tent city, which will eventually be "flooded", has also been created in a remote corner of the park.
The massive ark was built in just under two months, record time compared to the years it's taken to try to recreate the Ark in Williamstown, Ky. But, unlike the would-be Kentucky tourist trap, you can't get very close to Aronofsky's cinematic marvel. You can still visit the rest of the Gold Coast Estate and Gardens at Planting Fields though. The grounds are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information, visit plantingfields.org.
