How To Get Tickets To Stephen Colbert's 'Colbchella Rocktaugustfest'

On Tuesday night Stephen Colbert made a very special announcement on "The Colbert Report". No, he isn't running for office again, but he is hosting a music festival aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum in New York City!

"The only thing bigger than the festival itself is this year's venue," Colbert said during the announcement. "You may know her from her work capturing the Marshall Islands during WWII. She displaces 41,434 tons. Ladies and gentleman, the mother#$%#&$# U.S. Intrepid!"

The StePhest Colbchella ‘012 Rocktaugustfest will take place on August 10 and feature musical performances from The Flaming Lips, fun., Grandmaster Flash, Grizzly Bear, and Santigold.

More than 1500 free tickets to the event will be released. Though tickets are not available right now, a message on ColbertNation.com advises fans to keep checking back throughout the day today for more tickets. Or, you can sign up for email alerts about ticket availability. For more information, visit http://www.colbertnation.com/tickets.

Also, keep an eye on Colbert's Twitter page, they have already given away 100 tickets via Twitter and will likely be giving away more before the August 10th concert.
