Bulgaria is a country that hasn’t really been shot very much so most of our locations will have never been seen before. As a result, I think the movie will have an incredible look. There are so many different types of landscape and locations we were able to use. I think people will be surprised by what they see.

The cast and crew took advantage of Sofia's sties for filming and sightseeing. Chuck Norris and his wife, Gena, posted several pictures they took while touring Bulgaria to their Facebook page, including photos of Alexander Nevski Cathedral and the Party House on Dondukov Blvd. Both landmarks are popular tourist destinations in Sofia especially for architecture buffs, maybe Chuck has a hobby we don't know about?

In addition to Sofia, filming took place at at Bulgaria's second largest airport, Plovdiv Airport, and Devetashka Cave in Lovech Province. Devetashka is one fo the country's major historical landmarks thought to have been inhabited during just about every historical era.
