Win Two Seats on Singapore Airlines' Next A380 Delivery Flight

Delivery flights are magical things. A brand-spanking-new airplane rolls off the line and is ready to take its rightful place as a vehicle for transporting travelers around the world. The manufacturer hands the keys over to the purchasing airline, and the airline takes her home for keeps. It's that transfer—from the manufacturer to the airline—that defines a delivery flight.

Up 'til now, delivery flights have been reserved for those employed by the airline or manufacturer, or journalists within the aviation industry. Singapore Airlines is about to change all that, however; they're hosting a contest to give away two seats on the upcoming delivery flight of their 19th Airbus A380 on September 6.

You've got until August 28 to get your name in to win, and here's how to do so:

How to enter: No need to fly anywhere to enter. Just go here to the SIAJourneys.com Passport, fill out the form to create a "passport" for yourself, and that's it. Of course reading the history of the A380s with Singapore could also help to get you psyched up—all that is right here.

What you'll win:
· A flight for two to Toulouse, France, home of Airbus.
· Two nights' hotel in Toulouse
· A half-day tour of Toulouse
· Dinners hosted by SIA and Airbus
· A tour of Airbus’ production centre
· Two seats on the Delivery Flight of the 19th A380 to Singapore, from Toulouse direct to Singapore-Changi Airport
· A return flight from Singapore to your home city

This is all pretty amazing, really. Kudos to Singapore Airlines! If you love planes, love flying long distances and love having exclusive access (who doesn't?) then this will definitely be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
