Josh Duhamel and Fergie Got Lost on the Fourth in North Carolina

While some celebs, like George Clooney and Zac Efron, left the country for the Fourth of July, Josh Duhamel and Fergie spent the 4th at one the country's most patriotic parties—the North Carolina Fourth of July Festival.

The annual festival takes place in Southport, N.C. where they don't just spend one day celebrating Independence Day, but a whole week. Daily events include parades, fireworks, concerts, and tours.

And, this year, the festival's entertainment also included a Where's Waldo-style search for Fergie and Josh. Once word started to spread among festival attendees that the couple was in town (thanks in part to their own Tweets) some attendees made it a point to search them out for a photo, or at least a quick wave.

They might have been mobbed by fans but the couple still seemed to have a good time at the N.C. 4th Fest. Fergie posted a photo of herself on a red, white, and blue motorcycle with the caption "This place is so cray" and another she took with two fans in the afternoon.

Josh and Fergie's trip isn't as random as it may seem. Josh is in town for the next few weeks to shoot his next movie, Safe Haven.
