Rate Your Flight Crew and Be Entered to Win Flights on United

United has been getting a bad rap lately with bucket loads of complaints from passengers and frequent flyers who are not. happy. with the 'new' United. Obviously, there will be some teething pains to get through after a major merger of 2 airlines, but United execs surely didn't think it was going to be as rocky as it turned out to be.

Well, the airline has come to the rescue with a way to tell them just how good a job they're doing and you'll find it in their smartphone app, of course. The hidden gem is in the MORE section located a few options down, where you'll spot "Outperform Recognition."

Oh yeah, this feedback tool is only for nice things to say about exemplary customer service you may have received while checking-in for your flight, or even while flipping through the 100 channels of DirecTV that the airline offers on some aircraft. Here's hoping that it is used for good.

If logging in from your personal account on the app, it comes preloaded with your name and MileagePlus number, so that saves some time in between in-flight wines. The form does require the last 4 digits of the employee number that provided the exemplary service (so you'll have to be extra diligent) and offers some GPS to pinpoint exactly where you are. (If you are on the ground, of course.)

Each frequent flyer gets 5 nominations to give credit where credit is due. If the employee that a certain customer nominates wins in the random drawing at United HQ, the passenger can also win tickets or MileagePlus miles.

If you are quick with doling out compliments when you fly and have a United trip coming soon, you are in luck! Just make sure you get your entry in before the end of September as the contest ends then.
