We warned you it was cominga movie filmed entirely on airplanes while they're flying, and now's the time to see a whole lot more than just some still teaser images.
Virgin Produced has finally released a full preview of "Departure Date," a short film (half hour-ish) to be fully unveiled during the upcoming LA Film Festival, on June 11th. Following this, you'll be able to catch the full feature onboard Virgin Atlantic, Virgin America and Virgin Australia flights. That means it's not hitting the theaters, your TV or the internet...for now.
The Kat Coiro-directed film stars Ben Feldman (you may also recognize him from Mad Men), Janeane Garofalo, Luis Guzman and more. It took the crew nine days to shoot, over three continents and multiple flights across all three Virgin airlines. The preview below even includes several minutes of behind-the-scenes footage, perhaps just to hike the heart rate of the travel-happy. It worked on us at least.
