Comic-Con Updates: 'Firefly' Reunion, 'Iron Man 3' and...Larry King?

This week San Diego Comic-Con's line-up is beginning to shape up as more panels, autograph signings, and special events are finally announced.

Yesterday, Comic-Con mainstays Walt Disney Studios and Marvel announced their panels, including Frankenweenie director Tim Burton, a special look at the Oz The Great and Powerful, the voice cast of Wreck-It Ralph, and a look inside Iron Man 3.

Another major announcement came yesterday when it was confirmed Joss Whedon and Nathan Fillion will reunite for a very special 10 year anniversary panel of their cult classic TV series Firefly on Friday.

But along with the usual suspects, there have been some surprises, like news of an appearance by Fifty Shades of Grey author E. L. James. The writer will be signing books on Thursday in the convention center. Another surprise to the schedule was the addition of Larry King. The former CNN host will interview Peter Cullen, who provides the voice for Optimus Prime on the Hub cartoon Transformers Prime, on Friday.

And, finally, if you're still in the process of planning your trip to SDCC, don't forget to reserve your parking space. Parking spots at the San Diego Convention Center are already sold out but there are still spots available at a few of the nearby parking lots. Parking permits are $25 a day and can be purchased at http://www.thepermitstore.com/comic-con/gp/.

San Diego Comic-Con 2012 will take place in downtown San Diego from July 12-15.
