They’re flying scheduled flights between North Bimini over in the Bahamas to both the seaplane airport in Miami and the regular airport in Ft. Lauderdale. If those destinations aren’t really on your to-do list—don’t worry—as they’d also gladly schedule a charter to send you down to Key West or a number of other South Florida destinations.
For those thinking that this is something that they’d love to experience—like us—the fares really aren’t that crazy. Just remember that this is hardly like flying aboard an Airbus or Boeing, so just be sure not to chicken out before handing over the credit card digits. Flights in July from Miami to the Bahamas take just over 30 minutes and will set you back around $180 each way, so that’s kind of a deal considering that the flight is part of the overall experience.
