The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is bringing the best of the Oscars to their new outdoor theater in Hollywood this summer.

The Academy's new summer screening series, called "Oscars Outdoors", kicked off last week with a screening of Casblanca. Upcoming films include Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Dreamgirls, The Goonies, North By Northwest, and Pillow Talk.

All screenings will take place at sunset on Friday and Saturday night through mid-August at the AMPAS outdoor theater located on the Academy’s property at 1341 Vine St and are BYOB - bring your own blanket.

There will also be Food Trucks at each screening provided by Roaming Hunger. Trucks will vary each night and, when possible, will serve meals to fit the theme of the film.

Tickets cost $5 for the public, $3 for Academy members and students, and are free for children 10 years and younger. On-site parking is free. Tickets for July screenings go on sale July 2. Tickets can be ordered online at Oscars.org.
