Dates Announced for New York Restaurant Week, Summer 2012

OMG. The moment has arrived: the dates for the Summer 2012 New York City Restaurant Week are announced! Foodies, start your engines (and start looking into flights and hotels) to enjoy the $24.07 Lunch and $35 3-course Dinner menus at some of the city's best restaurants. The dates are extra long this year as the city goes for nearly a full Restaurant Month: July 16 to August 10.

Reservations aren't open yet, but that doesn't mean it's too early to set up your short list. Check out our Top 5 restaurant picks from Restaurant Week, Winter 2012. And, if you're curious about what to expect with a Restaurant Week meal, feel free to check out our photo galleries of our meals from the last couple seasons (we always do at least a few meals on our own, because it's awesome). Reservations open July 9! Don't worry; the second that the restaurant list becomes available, we'll be on it like gold leaf on a dark chocolate torte.
