Hawaii, Paraguay and Singapore Star in This Week's New Routes

Sometimes it�s hard to stay on top of all the new route announcements that come our way, so we�ve complied a little bit of a rundown below. As long as you can afford the fares, this should definitely help add to your passport stamp collection.

· American Airlines:
Thinking about visiting Paraguay? We kind of weren�t either, but now we are thanks to some news out of the American Airlines camp. The carrier is planning to start up the first nonstop option between the nifty fifty and Paraguay beginning later this year. The plan is to link Miami with Asuncion beginning on November 15, which is perfect for skipping the turkey here at home and checking out a slice of South America. Boeing 757s will be doing the flying four times per week, and we�re sure that there will be plenty who will be pumped over the lack of a flight connection. Just don�t expect any crazy introductory fares, as we�re thinking the convenience comes with a price.

· Japan Airlines:
Looks like the Boeing 787 is coming to a new city within the United States, and all the flying fun is on schedule to begin on December 2. We knew Japan Airlines was planning to connect San Diego with Tokyo-Narita, but we just weren�t sure when the pilots and planes were going to start heading back and forth. This is the airport�s first nonstop option over to Asia, and the plan is to run the flights four times per week. Flights will do their thing on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, but if all goes well the flights might just become a daily option in 2013.

· Allegiant:
If you�re ready to travel to Hawaii and just can�t swing the cost of your flight�don�t give up hope�as Allegiant Air might just help you get there at a price you can afford. The airline just got the official stamps and seals needed in order to fly all the way over the Pacific to Hawaii. This ETOPS certification and flag carrier status comes straight from our pals at the FAA, so now all the carrier needs is passengers to fill their plans.

The new options will head right into Honolulu from spots like Las Vegas and Fresno beginning at the end of June. After that it looks like the middle of November for Eugene, Oregon; Bellingham, Washington; Monterey, California; Santa Maria, California; and Stockton, California. There�s even going to be nonstop flights to Maui from Bellingham beginning on November 14. Depends on from where you�re flying and when you�re going, but we saw one way fares for as low as $159�not too bad.

· Frontier:
For those that love the sun and sand as well as airplanes with animals on them�we�ve got great news. Frontier Airlines is now flying from Denver all the way over to the Dominican Republic. It�s only a seasonal thing running through the beginning of August, and the flights do their thing on Saturdays. Airbus 319s will take care of the flying�with a little help from the flight attendants and pilots of course. Also, Frontier is even offering up a double-dose of frequent flyer miles for those flying between the two cities. Just don�t forget your 3-ounce bottle of sunblock.

· Singapore Airlines:
You can never get enough Singapore Airlines, and that�s apparently the case for passengers heading out of London. The carrier already flies three times each and every day between London and Singapore, but now it sounds like they�re filling up the fuel tanks for flight number four. Singapore Airlines is adding a fourth daily trip between the two cities, and it�ll be a Boeing 777-300ER heading back and forth beginning on September 9. There�s A380s available on some of the other flights, but the airline promises the latest and greatest in premium seating options on the new flight as well. Initially the flights will run just four times per week, but on October 21 it officially becomes a daily option.
