We’re too early in the game to know about pricing, speeds and other access tidbits. Regardless, Icelandair has been excited to clarify that their WiFi will be full high-speed Internet access—not just email—as well as the ability to spend some cash on duty-free specials. The airline will probably also partner with some hotels and other operators to sell you this and that once you’re on the ground enjoying your Iceland or mainland Europe adventure.
We’ll keep you posted in case there’s any snags during the installation process, but if you just need to be connected when hopping the Atlantic—Icelandair may be the best option in 2013, unless KLM and Air France ramp it up to more than just their two measly "trial" planes.
