Chicago's Newest Landmark is a Giant Conan O'Brien Bobblehead

Conan O'Brien has taken over the Chicago Theatre this week where he is taping four episodes of Conan to coincide with the TBS Just For Laughs Festival.

On Monday, Conan unveiled a 17-foot bobblehead of himself which he plans to donate to Chicago. "As a thank you, I had a sculpture created that reflects Chicago's size, power, and beauty," Conan explained as he revealed the massive monument.

Conan is asking Chicago residents to chose where they want the giant bobblehead to stand by tweeting suggestions to @teamcoco with the hashtag #COCOBOBBLE or posting them at teamcoco.com/cocobobble.

So far locals have suggested plenty of iconic Chicago locations for Conan's giant head, like Millennium Park, the top of the Willis Tower, and Wrigley Field (inside or out).

Other less obvious Chicago venues have started online campaigns to try to win the Conan Bobblehead. Lollapolooza got in on the act by tweeting, "Hey Chicago! How about the #cocobobble at #lolla 2012? Vote @lollapalooza to see the #cocobobble in Grant Park this August! @TeamCoco." The t-shirt company Threadless has also been rallying its followers to tell Conan they want the bobblehead at their headquarters, and this morning ‏Vienna Beef even joined in on the fun.

If it were up to us, we'd place Conan in Old Town to shake things up a bit. Where would you like to see him end up?
