The Adventures of Travel Cat: Hakone, Japan
Kitty cats. They rule the internet and, whether we realize it or not, pretty much the world too. Ever noticed how cats sometimes stake out the coolest spots in a city? This new featureTravel Catfocuses on exactly that. Submit a photo to be featured by tweeting or Instagramming it to us (details below).
Travel Cat spotted at: the shore of Lake Ashi, Japan.
This week's Travel Cat is from jaunted reader Jonathan Khoo, who caught this stray just chilling on a rock by the waters of Lake Ashi. This body of water sits in the Hakone area, famous for its many hot springs and resorts that exploit the healing reputation of the surrounding environment. Every day this kitty gets to enjoy views of Mt. Fuji and the replica pirate ships that ply the lake's calm waters.
