Come On Down! JetBlue Gears Up for Online Game Show with Flight Prizes
It’s time to start brushing up on your Wikipedia research and reviewing those Trivial Pursuit cards, as you want to be fully prepared to take on the competition in JetBlue’s new online game show. It's being called Get Away With It, and overall it sounds like one of the very first live online game shows where you can win way more than just useless points or credits; they’re giving away whole vacations.
The game show comes complete with a mustached host—Mark Hammerberg—and even some cheesy music, so they’re pretty much ready to go as far as we’re concerned. Right now all you can do is familiarize yourself with the rules and register to play, as we’re still a week away before the game goes live.
They're currently looking for people to fill five games per day starting on June 18, and all the fun runs live through June 22. SIGN UP HERE. Prizes include trips to destinations like Mexico, Turks and Caicos, Bermuda, and Las Vegas—not too shabby!
Obviously there’s a lot of luck involved with getting on a game show, and the same goes with this one. However, if you’re lucky enough to be one of the three contestants in the Spotlight Round you’ll be asked a series of questions—with only seven seconds to answer. Get it right and you’ll stick around, but, if you’re wrong, you’re done for the day and someone else replaces you.
Following nine questions, the three people remaining are the final contestants for the Knockout Round. Same thing here—stick around if you’re right and see you later if you’re wrong—the last one standing scores a grand prize. Just ensure you have a Skype ID too, as you’ll need one to participate in all the fun and games.
Sounds simple enough, right? You can bet we’ve already added this to our calendar, as we could go for a little Bermuda this summer.
