The 787 Dreamliner is on the Move to Moscow, Beijing and Tokyo

Now that some of the first Boeing 787 Dreamliners are flying around the globe, it seems that there’s been quite an increase in new route news. Japan Airlines and ANA already have their planes, but it’s JAL that’s getting ready for some new routes and destinations.

They’re already flying the first 787 back and forth to the United States—Boston to be specific—but the airline is not stopping there. Dreamliners started heading back and forth between Tokyo-Haneda and Beijing earlier this week, and it sounds like that route will continue with the new 787 service for quite some time.

Other recent activity has linked Tokyo-Narita with Delhi, but you’re going to need to be careful when booking. On Thursdays the route is operated with 777s—no offense to the triple seven—but look for the Dreamliner to do its thing on Tuesday, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Finally, there's one more brand new 787 route—between Tokyo-Narita and Moscow. Monday, Thursday, and Saturday is when the planes will run the route. Of course we’ll keep you updated on further comings and goings of the 787 and its auto-dimming window shades, but in the interim keep your eyes towards the skies.
